Earning Structure Whether you are currently a full-time driver or a part-time driver, there’s something for everyone! Our earning structure aims to cater to your availability and maximise your earning potential. 5 types of guarantees: Mega Peak, Ultra Peak, High Peak, Peak, and Bonus. Each type of hour has different guaranteed earnings. You can now enjoy the FLEXIBILITY to drive at your convenience, while being able to plan ahead so that you maximize your earnings! If you can, drive during MEGA PEAK hours as our guarantees are at its highest at those times. Example: Mega Peak hours will bring the highest gross guaranteed earnings, which are up to RM60 gross guaranteed earnings* per hour for Tier 1! Guarantees: The more you drive, the more you earn – the more trips you complete in an hour, the higher your total gross guaranteed earnings per hour! Example: As a Tier 1 driver, completing 1 trip during the Mega Peak hour on Monday guarantees you gross earnings* of RM40; completing 3 trips guarantees you gross earnings* of RM60. 2 tiers of earnings: Tier 1 requires at least RM480 fare collection per week, while Tier 2 applies to anyone who collects below RM480 in fares. Top up: All hourly guaranteed earnings are before Grab’s 20% commission. GrabAuto: Expansion of our GrabAuto program to more drivers, so you can save up to 30% for your car maintenance needs, to increase your take-home earnings! Manakala, jika anda lengkapi 3 perjalanan, anda akan dijamin pendapatan kasar* sebanyak RM60. 2 “tier” pendapatan: Untuk pemandu yang ingin memasuki Tier 1, syaratnya adalah pemandu tersebut perlu mengumpul tambang sekurang-kurangnya RM480 setiap minggu. Tier 2 pula boleh dimasuki oleh sesiapa, termasuk pemandu yang mengumpul tambang bawah RM480 setiap minggu. Oleh itu, semua pemandu layak untuk memasuki Tier 2. Tambah nilai: Semua pendapatan yang dijamin adalah sebelum komisen 20% Grab. Hourly Guarantees

Example 1: If you achieve Tier 1 (RM480 in weekly fares collected), you could drive with us from 7.00am – 8.00am on Monday (Mega Peak) to potentially earn up to RM60 in gross guaranteed fares for the hour, depending on how many trips you complete in that hour!

Example 2: Even if you do not hit the RM480 fare target, you can still be eligible for extra earnings by driving during our Mega Peak, Ultra Peak, High Peak, and Bonus Hours!

Contoh 1: Jika anda mencapai Tier 1 (RM480 dalam kumpulan tambang setiap minggu), anda boleh memandu daripada pukul 7 pagi hingga 8 pagi pada hari Isnin (Mega Peak) dan berpeluang mendapat sebanyak RM60 dalam jaminan kasar untuk sejam, bergantung kepada nombor perjalanan yang anda lengkapi dalam waktu tersebut.

Contoh 2: Walaupun anda tidak mencapai sasaran tambang sebanyak RM480, anda tetap layak untuk menikmati pendapatan tambahan dengan memandu pada waktu Mega Peak, Ultra Peak, High Peak, Peak, dan Bonus Hours.

Refer a friend to become a driver and earn RM100 referral bonus Terms & Conditions This promotion applies to the 1st level in the referral scheme.  Drivers must show payout statement from a competitor platform as proof prior to activation when verifying their documents at the kiosk. Statements provided after activation date will not be entertained.   Drivers have to complete 20 trips before 3 December to be eligible for the promotion.  Referred drivers must be new drivers which excludes myteksi/existing GC/ex GC-fleet and previously terminated/banned drivers. All decisions by GC is final, including the details of the Weekly/Monthly Rewards and no correspondence will be entertained. Applicable to drivers in the Klang Valley only. Referring driver must be an active driver and have completed at least 20 jobs in the past 30 days as of the payout date.

Airport Promo is Still On! You will get total net earnings of RM62 for each airport trip. Net Earnings (after Grab’s 20% commission) RM65 (Received from passenger) x 80% (Minus Grab’s 20% commission) + RM10* (Top up into credit wallet) = RM62 NETT *Kindly note the RM10 top up will be processed into your credit wallet with the incentives instead of automatically.

The Fine Print Please do remember to read all of the fine print to ensure that you qualify for incentives. Also, please do take some time to read the T&Cs in your driver app to ensure that you are able to perform your best as a Grab driver on our platform. To qualify for earnings, you must: Maintain an average driver rating of 4.4 and above. Maintain a Weekly Acceptance Score of 90%. Your Weekly Acceptance Score will be reset every Monday at 12:01am to 0%. Payout will be based on your prorated online & available time (note: you must be online AND available for jobs to be eligible for hourly guarantees). The amount of time that you were online & available will be calculated based on the number of minutes your were online for that hourly block. For example, if you are online & available for 45 minutes and complete one trip in that hour, you will be eligible for 75% (45/60 mins) of the guarantee for that hour. To maximize your earnings, do stay online for the full hourly block to get more jobs and increase your total gross earnings! Do note that you need to pick up at least one job per hour in order to qualify for guarantee for that hour. Maintain a weekly driver cancellation rate at a maximum of 10% in order to qualify for earnings. Drivers with consistent cancellation rates of 5-10% will also be closely monitored. In addition, the cancellation rate now includes cancellations occurring due to drivers requesting their passengers to cancel trips. For instance, If you have 100 accepted jobs in a week, out of which 15 are cancelled jobs (10 driver cancellations + 5 passenger cancellations due driver asking them to cancel), this would make for an overall cancellation rate of 15% (15/100 * 100) because driver-requested passenger cancellations are now included in the calculation. Weekly driver cancellation rate = (Number of driver cancellations in a week + Number of times driver has asked passenger to cancel in a week) ÷ Number of accepted bookings in a week To qualify for hourly guarantees, pick-ups are limited to areas within KLIA, KLIA 2 and Klang Valley only. You can drop off anywhere in Klang Valley, Genting Highlands, KLIA and KLIA 2. Drop offs outside these areas will not be included for computation of the hourly guarantees. To qualify for Mega Peak, Ultra Peak, High Peak, and Peak Hour guarantees, 50% of your jobs during those hours in a week must be picked up from busy areas. If you do not meet this requirement, you will not be eligible for any earnings for the Mega Peak, Ultra Peak, High Peak and Peak Hour hours. This requirement does not apply for Bonus Hour guarantees. Earnings will be calculated based on your weekly unique passenger count. Each unique passenger entitles you to ONE completed ride for the week. Only the fare amount of your FIRST unique passenger booking will be considered for the calculation of your hourly guarantee. GrabCar will collect a 20% commission from your gross fares, including the guaranteed portion (i.e. 20% commission will apply to both your collected fares AND the top-up portion). RM65 (gross) fare is only applicable for Klang Valley airport bookings to/from KLIA & KLIA 2. Subang Airport is excluded from the RM65 airport campaign, but it is still part of our busy areas. Please note that all airport fares (both drop-off and pick-up) contribute to your target fare collection to qualify for Tier 1 hourly guarantees. You can now check the final fare collected for every job from your driver app job history. Add the final fare for every job completed during the week to find out your total fare collected for the week [UPDATED]. If your fare collected for total trips completed is higher than the gross guaranteed earnings for the hour, you will not be given a further top up – you will earn the collected fare as per usual. We will only reimburse the difference if your collected fare is lower than the gross guaranteed earnings for the hour. For instances where fraudulent bookings or behaviour are found (e.g. driver excessively asking passenger to cancel on their behalf), an internal investigation will be conducted by Grab. Drivers may or may not qualify for earnings payout, depending on the findings of the investigation. This earning structure is only applicable for GrabCar (Economy) as per the week communicated.
