We have seen a sharp increase in demand and rides in the past 2 days. As an additional bonus for you, we are introducing better hourly guarantees for you this Wed – Fri through Jumbo Peak in the morningand Mega Peak in the evening from 5-7pm! This means additional RM5 for those hours. This applies to both Tier 1 & Tier 2.

An example: If you drive on Wednesday during Jumbo Peak hours, your hourly guarantee will be RM45 for 1 job, and RM 65 for 3 jobs (Tier 1).

Please familiarise yourself with the UPDATED schedule of hours to maximise your earnings.

Earning structure
Whether you are currently a full-time driver or a part-time driver, there’s something for everyone! Our earning structure aims to cater to your availability and maximise your earning potential.

  1. 6 types of guarantees: Jumbo Peak, Mega Peak, Ultra Peak, High Peak, Peak, and Bonus. Each type of hour has different guaranteed earnings. You can now enjoy the FLEXIBILITY to drive at your convenience, while being able to plan ahead so that you maximise your earnings! If you can, drive during JUMBO PEAK hours as our guarantees are at its highest at those times.

    Example: Jumbo Peak hours will bring the highest gross guaranteed earnings, which are     up to RM65 gross guaranteed earnings* per hour for Tier 1!

  2. Guarantees: The more you drive, the more you earn – the more trips you complete in an hour, the higher your total gross guaranteed earnings per hour!

    Example: As a Tier 1 driver, completing 1 trip during the Jumbo Peak hour on Wednesday guarantees you gross earnings* of RM45; completing 3 trips guarantees you gross earnings* of RM65.

  3. 2 tiers of earnings: Tier 1 requires at least RM480 fare collection per week, while Tier 2 applies to anyone who collects below RM480 in fares.

  4. Top up: All hourly guaranteed earnings are before Grab’s 20% commission.

Tidak kira sama ada anda pemandu sepenuh masa atau separuh masa, anda boleh memperolehi keuntungan! Struktur pendapatan kami bermatlamat untuk menyesuaikan struktur insentif kami mengikut kelapangan anda dan memaksimumkan pendapatan anda.

  1. 6 jenis jaminan: Jumbo Peak, Mega Peak, Ultra Peak, High Peak, Peak, dan Bonus. Setiap waktu membawa pendapatan jaminan kasar yang berbeza. Jika ada peluang, cuba untuk memandu pada waktu JUMBO PEAKkerana jaminan kami adalah tertinggi pada masa tersebut. 

    Contoh: Waktu “Jumbo Peak” akan membawa pendapatan jaminan kasar yang tertinggi, iaitu sehingga RM65 jaminan kasar* untuk setiap waktu bagi Tier 1!

  2. Tambang dijamin: Lebih banyak anda memandu, lebih tinggi pendapatan anda! Semakin banyak perjalanan yang anda lengkapi, semakin tinggi pendapatan jaminan sejam anda! 

    Contoh: Jika anda melengkapi 1 perjalanan semasa waktu “Jumbo Peak” pada hari Rabu, anda akan dijamin pendapatan kasar* sebanyak RM45. Manakala, jika anda melengkapi 3 perjalanan, anda akan dijamin pendapatan kasar* sebanyak RM65.

  3. 2 “tier” pendapatan: Untuk pemandu yang ingin memasuki Tier 1, syaratnya adalah pemandu tersebut perlu mengumpul tambang sekurang-kurangnya RM480 setiap minggu. Tier 2 pula boleh dimasuki oleh sesiapa, termasuk pemandu yang mengumpul tambang bawah RM480 setiap minggu. Oleh itu, semua pemandu layak untuk memasuki Tier 2.

  4. Tambah nilai: Semua pendapatan yang dijamin adalah sebelum komisen 20% Grab.

  5. GrabAuto: Baru-baru ini, program GrabAuto telah dikembangkan kepada lebih banyak pemandu, jadi anda boleh menikmati diskaun sebanyak 30% untuk penyelenggaraan kereta. Jumbo Peak hours are from 7am to 9am on Wednesday to Friday, 12pm to 2pm and 5pm to 7pm on Friday. We have also increased the hourly guarantees from Ultra Peak to Mega Peak from 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday and Thursday, 4pm to 5pm and 7pm to 8pm on Friday.

Example 1: If you achieve Tier 1 (RM480 in weekly fares collected), you could drive with us from 7.00am – 8.00am on Wednesday (Jumbo Peak) to potentially earn up to RM65 in gross guaranteed fares for the hour, depending on how many trips you complete in that hour!

Example 2: Even if you do not hit the RM480 fare target, you can still be eligible for extra earnings by driving during our Jumbo Peak, Mega Peak, Ultra Peak, High Peak, Peak, and Bonus Hours!

You will get a total net earnings of RM62 for each airport trip.

*Kindly note the RM10 top up will be processed into your credit wallet with the incentives instead of automatically.

The Fine Print

 

Please do remember to read all of the fine print to ensure that you qualify for incentives. Also, please do take some time to read the T&Cs in your driver app to ensure that you are able to perform your best as a Grab driver on our platform. To qualify for earnings, you must:

  1. Maintain an average driver rating of 4.4 and above.
  2. Maintain a Weekly Acceptance Score of 90%. Your Weekly Acceptance Score will be reset every Monday at 12:01am to 0%.
  3. Payout will be based on your prorated online & available time (note: you must be online AND available for jobs to be eligible for hourly guarantees). The amount of time that you were online & available will becalculated based on the number of minutes your were online for that hourly block. For example, if you are online & available for 45 minutes and complete one trip in that hour, you will be eligible for 75% (45/60 mins) of the guarantee for that hour. To maximize your earnings, do stay online for the full hourly block to get more jobs and increase your total gross earnings! Do note that you need to pick up at leastone job per hour in order to qualify for guarantee for that hour.
  4. Maintain a weekly driver cancellation rate at a maximum of 10% in order to qualify for earnings. Drivers with consistent cancellation rates of 5-10% will also be closely monitored. In addition, the cancellation rate now includes cancellations occurring due to drivers requesting their passengers to cancel trips. For instance, If you have 100 accepted jobs in a week, out of which 15 are cancelled jobs (10 driver cancellations + 5 passenger cancellations due driver asking them to cancel), this would make for an overall cancellation rate of 15% (15/100 * 100) because driver-requested passenger cancellations are now included in the calculation.
    Weekly driver cancellation rate = (Number of driver cancellations in a week + Number of times driver has asked passenger to cancel in a week) ÷ Number  of accepted bookings in a week
  5. To qualify for hourly guarantees, pick-ups are limited to areas within KLIA, KLIA 2 and Klang Valley only.You can drop off anywhere in Klang Valley, Genting Highlands, KLIA and KLIA 2. Drop offs outside these areas will not be included for computation of the hourly guarantees.
  6. To qualify for Mega Peak, Ultra Peak, High Peak, and Peak Hour guarantees, 50% of your jobs during those hours in a week must be picked up from busy areas. If you do not meet this requirement, you will not be eligible for any earnings for the Mega Peak, Ultra Peak, High Peak, and Peak Hours. This requirement does not apply for Bonus Hour guarantees.
  7. Earnings will be calculated based on your weekly unique passenger count. Each unique passenger entitles you to ONE completed ride for the week. Only the fare amount of your FIRST unique passenger booking will be considered for the calculation of your hourly guarantee.
  8. GrabCar will collect a 20% commission from your gross fares, including the guaranteed portion (i.e. 20% commission will apply to both your collected fares AND the top-up portion).
  9. RM65 (gross) fare is only applicable for Klang Valley airport bookings to/from KLIA & KLIA 2.Subang Airport is excluded from the RM65 airport campaign, but it is still part of our busy areas. Please note that all airport fares (both drop-off and pick-up) contribute to your target fare collection to qualify for Tier 1 hourly guarantees.
  10. To keep track of your weekly fares collected, check your driver app job history for the number of pick-ups during the week. GrabCar’s 20% commission is listed in the driver app job history. Divide this value by 0.2 to get the total fare.
  11. If your fare collected for total trips completed is higher than the gross guaranteed earnings for the hour, you will not be given a further top-up – you will earn the collected fare as per usual. We will only reimburse the difference if your collected fare is lower than the gross guaranteed earnings for the hour.
  12. For instances where fraudulent bookings or behaviour are found (e.g. driver excessively asking passenger to cancel on their behalf), an internal investigation will be conducted by Grab. Drivers may or may not qualify for earnings payout, depending on the findings of the investigation.
  13. This earning structure is only applicable for GrabCar (Economy) – Klang Valley as per the week communicated. Any previous earning structure is not applicable.
